Senior Manager - Finance
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to lead and strengthen our financial strategy, reporting, and
operational performance. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving financial planning, ensuring
regulatory compliance, and providing strategic insights to senior leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing and general ledger reconciliations, ensuring accounts are cleared and documented on a timely basis.
- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial statements and deliverables prepared by direct reports,
- Prepare adjusting journal entries as part of month-end and year-end closing; coordinate with staff to ensure corrections are given and implemented accurately and timely,
- Provide guidance and oversight during the monitoring of accounts receivable and accounts payable aging, driving resolution of outstanding items with the Commercial Department.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities to direct reports,
- Serve as a liaison with external auditors, coordinating audit escalation matters,
- Perform other related duties as assigned by CFO.
REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in accounting or financial administration, including experience in a manager/supervisory role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Accounting Software (example, EXACT, QuickBooks).
- Demonstrated experience with month-end close processes and reconciliations.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
